Something every investors needs to watch out for are scams and Forex s no different. There are many different ways for you to determine whether a company is offering a scam or not. First off, scams almost never happen offline, they are almost always online and the reason is because they aren’t regulated as heavily.
Watch out for these 3 scam words
Security – Many scammers will through safety words into the mix to try to make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Don’t let them fool you because when a website or person is talking about how secure your money is they are lying. There is not one investment that is 100% secure from risk.
Guaranteed – This is a huge deal breaker that you need to watch out for. Many websites that are just there to scam you are using sentences such as, “200% profits guaranteed”. If you see this just click the back button because this is a scam. Real brokerages and investment advisors are prohibited from saying guaranteed because no investment is.
Payment – The last word you need to watch out for is when a website says payment. The reason you need to watch out for this is because some websites will have you make a payment before they do anything and this is where you will get stuck. If you are buying an e-book or a system of any kind then you will have to pay first but for other things they don’t require this.
Just know that when it comes to Forex there are so many things that you need to watch out for because being that most people are new to it they don’t know everything about it.
